The gas regulations require all landlords to have the following:
- Ensuring all gas appliances in rented properties checked every 12 months, and are carried out safely by Gas safe engineers.
- Keeping an up-do-date Landlord Gas Safety Certificate for each property
- Ensuring boiler installation, boiler servicing and inspections to be carried out safely by a qualified Gas Safe Registered engineer
- Keeping pipework, chimney, flues and other gas-related appliances serviced and maintained safely
